2019 Season With Ellie Healy…

The 2019 season feels like it has come and gone just like that, and it has been a very big learning curve. After a good run at ONU18 Rockingham in May we couldn’t seem to nail this novice thing so dropped back down to BE100 where we picked up a 4th at Frickley and a 2nd at Skipton respectively. We then stepped back up to Novice and seem to gain ’20’ as a middle name because every Cross-country round bought another 20 pens! Anyway, we had a very exciting summer with my brother winning Double gold at the Europeans which took the limelight for a while-rightly so! Throughout the summer we have been attending NSEA qualifications and managed to qualify for 6 classes at the championships

At the end of October we headed down to Addington for 3 days.  We were placed 7th as a team in the 1.10 SJ, 7th in the 1m team SJ and picked up an individual 6th in the Elementary dressage.

With A levels really starting to take their toll I have a feeling that next year might not be the busiest of seasons but I am looking forward to a winters training to see where we can go next year hopefully on a new journey with a couple of young horses!

I would like to thank Super X Country for their ongoing support this year. It defiantly didn’t turn out as planned but I guess thats horses and I look forward to training hard in order to improve next year.
